The band has performed at countless festivals since 1990, including the Imatra Big Band Festival, Baltic Jazz Festival, Sysmä Summer Sounds, and the Helsinki Water Festival. The Millhill Big Band also performs at private events. The Millhill Big Band knows that the most memorable and fascinating dance music contains well-arranged and traditional big band tunes performed with great skill and emotion. The atmosphere can range from joyful and rhythmic to nostalgic and dreamy. And don't forget that a large ensemble, with its shining instruments and stylish music stands, is always a great visual asset at a party. When necessary, the Millhill Big Band can perform as a smaller combo depending on the client's wishes. The band also collaborates with several vocalists, ensuring that clients can have an experience tailored to their thematic preferences. Conductor Kimmo Leppälä Kimmo Leppälä, a versatile clarinetist, saxophonist and composer, conducts the Millhill Big Band. Leppälä is the principal clarinetist at the Lohja City Orchestra, and also conducts the latin-spirited Arriba Big Band, whose members are drawn from the Lohja City Orchestra.
